My healing journey took a major turn when I realised that when they say the ‘world is a mirror’, they’re not kidding!

The people you come in contact with in your life are a reflection of YOU. Of what you need to heal, of what you are incredibly good at, and also what you aren’t able to do yet.

If you’ve heard the saying “do onto others as you would have them do onto you”, or “love thy neighbour as thyself” (say HI 🖐🏻 if you had a Catholic upbringing 🥴) they literally mean “others are a version of you, so treat them accordingly”.

We all come from the same place. We are all part of the same whole, so how you treat others is how your treat yourself.

In essence, treat others:
like you would treat yourself…
like you want to be treated…
like you SHOULD have been treated…
…when you were in the same situation.

So, the next time someone makes you angry (for example), firstly understand that you have something to work on in terms of the anger that you feel at that moment (because that’s an emotion the other person has highlighted/brought up for you).

Secondly, choose how to react based on thinking that “the person in front of you is YOU”, not a separate entity who has nothing to do with you (or someone who you can treat poorly with no consequence to you).

It will greatly improve your relationship with the world around you ❤
